The Installation Process:

After the team leaves site, they will create a quote specifying the scope of works they will be performing. The location of underground services ensure the safety of all persons on the property while works are underway and the protection vital services such as electricity, water, telephone and gas lines.
2. Material Procurement & Manufacture of Custom Elements (1-3+ days): Once the plan is in place, the necessary materials are sourced. The timeline for material procurement varies based on availability and location. Generally for a standard chain mesh fence, most fencing contractors will have stock of the materials needed for your property. However if custom gates (over sized or electric) are required, these elements may take slightly longer to produce than standard.
3. Site Preparation (1-2+days): Before installing the fence, the installation crew will prepare the site, which includes marking boundaries, clearing vegetation if required, marking out underground services (if required), and ensuring the ground is level.
4. Installation and Construction (2-4+ days): The first day of your fencing installation will involve your fencing contractor setting up a star picket profile, excavating the post holes and concreting the posts into the ground. Depending on the weather, the next stage of installation may be able to resume the next day – however rain may prolong the amount of time required for the concrete to set. Once the posts have set, the chain wire and rails can be attached to the posts and the gates can be affixed to the gate posts.
